Row 1: sc in first st, *bobble in the next st, sc in the next 3 st* two times. Bobble in next st, sc in next st, *dc in next st, sc in next st* 7 times. *bobble in next st, sc in next 3 st* twice, bobble in next st, sc in last st, ch 1, turn.

Rows 5 – 24: repeat rows 1 – 4.
Rows 25 & 26: repeat rows 1-2
Row 27 – 53: sc across, ch 1, turn.
Cut yarn leaning 3 ft tail, pull yarn through last st.
Connecting all sides:
Fold finished work at row 27, with the RS facing each other, and working with the WS. Be sure to match stitches up from both sides. Place tail through yarn needle.
Insert yarn needle from last stitch with tail into the corresponding stitch across from it, then insert yarn needle into next stitch back to front, next stitch is front to back, repeat around two full sides.
Once three sides of the pillowcase are connected, put the pillowcase right side out again and place the pillow insert inside.
Use same method as above to connect the final side. Tie and weave in remaining ends. If you prefer a removable pillowcase, you could also connect with a zipper or buttons.
Fun pattern, but I have a question.
Repeating rows 1-4 leaves me at row 29 (not row 27), so is the last repeat only rows 1 and 2, or does the sc start at row 29?
Thanks.
Hi Patricia, please do last repeat with only rows 1 and 2, then begin single crochets. You should have 13 bobble rows! Thanks for catching that.
